Sonia has been a business owner since 2014. She started working in the restaurant industry in 1998. She gained her experience in local restaurants of San Diego as a server, bartender, and General Manager. Unisushi started as a catering company for Hilton San Diego Bayfront as Unisushi & Catering. In 2015, Unisushi opened its first restaurant at the Chula Vista Shopping Center. In 2016, Unisushi began catering to Petco Park and the Dodger Stadium, covering the last two MLB World Series at Dodgers Stadium, as well as well as playoff games. In 2019, Unisushi opened a second restaurant located in the Petco Park Stadium and began catering to Hotel Del that same year. Sonia, along with her daughters, Edhira, Marilyn, and Camila, are excited to serve you at our new location in Torrey Pines. We hope to continue proudly serving the San Diego Community as a small family-woman-owned business and hopefully continue expanding.
